Nibbi Concrete’s people have a passion for the latest concrete systems and building methods. They are experts in concrete systems, formwork design, work sequencing, site logistics, material performance, and other key elements of the building process. The benefits of this expertise are then delivered by our experienced workers and field team.
How We Got Here
Nibbi Concrete was officially formed in 2005, and is an A, B and C-8 licensed contractor in California.
Nibbi Concrete grew organically from our self-performance of structural concrete for Nibbi Brothers, a General Contractor originally founded in 1950. Over the years, our expertise and capability in this area grew to the point that we decided to extend our structural concrete subcontracting services to other General Contractors in the Bay Area.
Since then, we have become a trusted subcontractor to many of the region’s largest GCs, working on large-scale, award-winning projects like the Air Traffic Control Tower and the Long Term Parking Garage No. 2 at San Francisco International Airport.
Our Team
The Nibbi Concrete team is led by Vice President—Self Perform Operations Jeff Hartman. Jeff leads a skilled and cohesive group of professionals with years of experience providing exceptional services to our owner, developer and general contractor clients.
Jeff Hartman, Vice President—Self Perform Operations
Jeff joined Nibbi in 2012, as Division Manager and became VP of Self-Perform Operations in 2021. He has 20+ years of construction industry experience. Jeff is responsible for overall management of the Nibbi Concrete division, which includes oversight of all estimating and preconstruction efforts, operations and field activities, and business development functions.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Simpson College, and he’s a Member of the American Concrete Institute and the American Society of Concrete Contractors.
Mike Sprecher, Project Executive
Mike has more than 30 years of construction experience in the Bay Area, nearly 20 of which have been with a focus on structural concrete. As a Project Executive for Nibbi Concrete, Mike oversees all self-performed structural concrete work on Nibbi's projects and structural concrete work for external General Contractor clients, from pre-construction through completion.
Mike is passionate about self-performed operations and assisting the structural concrete teams in striving to find ways to innovate, improve productivity and quality, and bring value to the structures we build. He strongly advocates for how our self-perform operations enhance project performance through our expertise, professionalism, and transparency. Mike is also a proponent of working with our Structural Engineer project partners to help guide more economical and constructible structural concrete elements.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University.
Rick Gile, Field Operations Manager
Rick joined Nibbbi in April of 1994 and has over 35 years of construction experience. As Nibbi Concrete's Field Operations Manager, Rick is responsible for assisting project teams in successfully completing all Nibbi Concrete's projects. Rick supervises and mentors Nibbi Concrete's Superintendents and coaches forepersons and lead persons.
In addition to his mentorship, Rick works with Nibbi's Labor Resource Manager to allocate the appropriate workforce to Nibbi Concrete's different projects, tracks inventory, visits sites weekly, and sits in on project meetings.
Sean Estill, Senior Concrete Estimator
Sean joined Nibbi in 2012 and has 20+ years of estimating experience, beginning his career in 1999. He oversees and is responsible for all concrete estimating. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Francisco State University.
